Rhiannon + Adisa is an interdisciplinary artist blending drawing, sculpture, land art, and multisensory installation. Their practice is driven by concept, research, reflection, and material to create sculptural encounters through a deep co-working relationship with the natural world and materials. Often using performative, corporeal and alchemical approaches to experiment with form.

Rhiannon + Adisa is concerned with the opposition and tension between diverse ways of thinking and being; a gentle nudge towards a changed perspective. Deeply psychological and conceptual; works are created to encourage visceral self and societal reflection. In the process of making, there is an enactment of a concept; a performative expression to conjure the whisper of form. Observing synchronicity in the natural world; a formation of branches, the movement of body in the sea. From this an intuitive and sensorial exploration of material; a conduit, collaborating alchemically with materials; listening, sensing, watching, manipulating, transferring, and transforming. Interested in the dichotomous use of materials which become an entangled assemblage. Their work is influenced by the natural world, myth and magic, indigenous cultures, psychology, equality, and Art history. Tread softly in the world, but I hope to maximize disruption.
